This year is phenomenal as it is adorned with the variety of Pearls representing the thirty glorious years of St. Paul Sr. Sec. School. The school celebrated its Pearl Jubilee on 22 November 2018. The theme of the celebration was 'Mahatma – A Rendezvous with Gandhi', as the year is marked with 150th birth anniversary of the prime leader of the independence movement.
The Chief Guest was Rev. Fr. Justin Akkara CMI, President of CMI Seva Sangh. The Special Guest was Dr. Kedar Singh, Addl. Director, M. P. State Agricultural Marketing Board, Bhopal and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Prem Shankar Shukla, Director Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal. School Principal, Fr. Sebi Edattukaran CMI greeted the guests and was elated to witness the glorifying journey of thirty years of the school towards wisdom.
The celebration was inaugurated with lighting the lamp. The school Anthem and the welcome song reverberated the school campus. The main feature of the gala celebration was the Dance Drama entitled as 'Mahatma – A Rendezvous with Gandhi' that showcased the life of Mahatma and his crucial contribution to set the country free from the British Colonial power. The young Paulines thrilled the audience with their dynamic performance on the magnificent stage.
The Grand stage of the Pearl Jubilee celebration witnessed the felicitation of the school toppers in AISSCE and AISSE – 2018. The Meritorious students were awarded with the cash prizes and mementos. In a series of felicitation, Ms. Jyoti Andurkar and Anita didi were also acknowledged for their remarkable services to St. Paul School.
Rev. Fr. Justin Akkara CMI, the Chief Guest in his verbal expression stated Mahatma's life is an ideal illustration for all of us and was glad to witness the spectacular performance of the students.
In further celebration of the 30th anniversary, a special jubilee edition of the school newsletter 'Pauline Pulse' and the students' newsletter 'Youth Vine' was released by the honorable guests.
