According to
Lilian Katz when children are truly involved in the scientific process they
gain understanding, knowledge, and life skills. They deepen their awareness of
what’s going on around them and how others contribute to their well-being.
Developing the life skill
among the students of St. Paul’s Co-Ed School, Social Action Club had conducted
an elucidated orientation programme on 7th of July 2023. Principal Rev. Fr. Jaison introduced and welcomed the
resource person of the day, Rev. Fr. Linto CMI. Rev. Fr. Jaison in his address
to students accentuate them about their responsibility towards the trodden down.
He also asked them to show their sensitivity towards less privileged.
Rev. Fr. Linto with his
impulsion speech enlightened the hearts of young mind. The orientation
programme commenced with a short presentation on the need for the social
service in our society. Fr. Linto acquainted the students with the problems
that bedevil our society and the possible ways of solving them.
An interactive session
for the students was also held wherein the students proposed the activities
that can be taken up by the club for the current session.
The
session ended with vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Irene George.
