St. Paul’s Co-ed School, Bhopal celebrated 79th Independence Day on 15th August
with great patriotism and joy. The ceremony began with a band reception followed by flag hoisting and the National Anthem.
Chief Guest D.K. Korbu, IPS, was warmly welcomed by Manager Rev. Fr. Sebastian. Students presented patriotic speeches in English, Sanskrit and Hindi, and performed a cultural dance in honour of our freedom fighters. The prestigious Bishop Clemens Award was presented to the meritorious students of Classes 10th , 12th and class 8th Hindi Medium.
In his address, the Chief Guest exhorted students to work towards the nation’s progress. A memento was presented to the Chief Guest by Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Thomas as a token of appreciation. The School Captain proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
